Cooking with Sergio – The recipe for a great time

Abruzzo is renowned for a delicious variety of  uncomplicated dishes, reflecting a past where local ingredients from the land, sea and mountains,  fused with the imagination of the people, to produce simple but very tasty recipes.

You too can share Sergio’s passion and from a few cooking lessons with him, take back home a little part of Abruzzo!

The region of Teramo is well known for a number of specialty dishes, only to be found in this part of Italy.

Sergio was born and raised in the Teramo region and like almost all Italians, food for him is an integral part of his life. His passion is to cook and moreover for people to enjoy the “Teramani” dishes he loves so much.

Here are some of the local dishes you can choose to learn and approximate time required to prepare….

* Maccheroni alla Chitarra con Pallottine (3 hours)
* Ravioli Dolci (3 hours)
* Timballo con scrippelle (3 hours)
* Gnocchi (2 hours)
* Pasta e Fagioli (2 hours including making fresh egg pasta

- and more generally from Italy -

* Risotto (1 hour)
* Fresh egg pasta  including Spaghetti, Tagliatelle, Sweet  and Savoury Ravioli (1 to 2 hours)
* A variety of pasta sauces (1 hour)
* Preserving fruit and vegetables** (1 to 2 hours)
* A range of desserts including Tiramisù ( 2 hours)

** Depending on season

The cost for 3 hours  personal  tuition with Sergio is just €95 per person (Maximum 3 people)
Choose one or more of the sample dishes on the right and then enjoy your lunch afterwards, accompanied by wine & refreshments .

All this for only €95 per person!!
